Pepe
Product
2010
Pepe combines the round table with a rectangular narrow table. Intended for a common room, in which many different activities take place, it offers space for the most diverse situations.
The free form seems unusual at first - but challenges to approach and understand it emotionally and functionally. Designed for a maximum number of up to 8 people, the shape of the table allows a variety of seating constellations to each other. By the constantly breaking shape of the table, no seating position is repeated, each offers a different shape and angle of view of the table. Intuitively, you can choose the area that best suits the current mood and activity.
The yellow underside of the table top contrasts with the gray surface. Reflections on the legs and the table's surroundings create a bright aura. While functionally nonsensical at first glance, the color resonates strongly on an emotional level. Knowing that the underside of the table is hidden gives a sense of familiarity - you know about the secret and are privy to it.
In addition, there are positive as well as negative recesses on the table. They are used to place certain items and objects - creating order and highlighting.
